This 3d model of the m134 Minigun on a tripod with a ammo box was made for my VFX 210 class. Old Painless was the famous nickname for the modified General Electric M134 Minigun wielded by the character Blain Cooper (played by Jesse Ventura) in the 1987 action film Predator. This is a medium poly model was made in Maya. My main goal was to recreate this weapon as accurate as possible and in the process found lots of cool media of it disassembled which was really helpful as it made it easier to model piece by piece.
