This is a 3d model of the m50 Ontos tank which was made for my VFX 210 class. The primary nickname for the M50 self-propelled multiple recoilless rifle is Ontos (Greek for "Thing"), though it is also popularly called the Six-Shooter, a reference to its primary battery of six forward-facing 106mm recoilless rifles. This is a high poly model was made using Adobe Photoshop and Maya. I was responsible for the models, textures, the lighting, and set design. My goal was to create a realistic render and scene based off of one of the most famous photos of the m50 in Vietnam.
